Is there really a difference between high compression and standared oem rings i am going to do a top end job on my 82 honda 200 and replace the rings while its apart. Would the high compression rings be to much compression?

the rings are the same, the high compression piston has more of a dome to it. From less of a dome to more standard-10.25:1-12:1-13.5:1
