    Turbo crank?

What exactly is a turbo crank? Is it just a lightened crank? would this be a good add on to a 310r? Who can do it?....Ronnie?

well does it lighten the crank or what? it seems like a couple small scratches in the crank wouldnt do much good for anything.

All of the "turbo" cranks I've ever seen had a knurled finish on the outside of the flywieght's surface. It's supposed to create a turbulance or "turbo" effect on the intake charge in the lower end. Does it work ?? I don't know. Doesn't make the crank any lighter.

so now for the ultimate question. Is it worth messing with? and how much does ronnie charge to do one?

you need to contact him he does the one on the left that knerled(sp)

It mixes the the gas and air thats in the case for a better burn(turbo effect), thus creating more hp, is the theory behind it.

    .

well the bike already has to run 110 octane in it, think the turbo crank would give it more oomph or would it be a waste for this bike? The bike has an esr310 kit, some huge carb (not sure what it is), a +12 swinger, and an FTZ out of frame drag pipe.
