all of a sudden tonight i thought i could check electronics for the motor i thought i wanted to buy. now i have 2nd thoughts due to seeing things discontinued. if your electronics take a crap and you cant get any are you SOL?
i even did searches on ebay and nothing comes up. now that scares me. what scared me even more was honda dont even make 200X coils anymore and i was going to use one. oh boy, now im scared and not sure what engine i want or if i should go with a new dirtbike motor.

a coil of any honda 4 stroke motor will work. they hardly ever go bad.

2008 KTM 525xc quad ----- HMF exhaust, HRE chromoly stem,
86 trx 250r --- with after market chromoly frame and everything else done to it
01 400ex --- with 86 trx 250r motor
87 250x + 93 300ex both 350x powered
2 = 86 atc 350x's
86 atc 250r
83 atc 185s --- from retired guy not ridden since 87
Bandito framed 110 with 85 motor and yellow us90 fenders + tank

80s......185 atc, Yamaha tri-moto 200, 85 200x with tons of work
90s......89 Suzuki quad racer 250 (raced 250 A class for 6 years, late 90s.. custom framed 250x with long travel shocks and a built 350x motor.... built Honda 110
00s...... chomeoly framed 350 RX with all the goodies (thanks to my bro)

No there is a difference somewhat you cant just throw a huge 450 coil on, im thinking somthing of the same size engine, cause it will use the same watt spark. (im thinking this is correct) ohh sorry about that i guess i skipped the 200x ordeal.

i had a 350x coil on my trx250r 2 stroke and it worked. i bought a Jansenn racing coil since then.
