I just bought an xr 500 and was planning on putting the engine in one of my 350x's. I have been reading up on some old posts and have also been looking on the internet at other forums. My question is, is it possible to put an xr 500 top end (cylinder, piston, head) on a 350x bottom end? If so, is it worth it? thanks

Well, did not do as much searching as I thought. I found a bunch of old posts here addressing this very issue. I guess I will use this engine in my 300ex frame instead of ruining a good running 350x.
