    hardtails+jumping=not so bad

Granted, I only got the back tires a few inches off the ground(not enough room), but it wasnt too bad. This M is so badass for a 200.
Who else jumps thiers and how many bruises have you gotten from it?

Be careful man, Those ridged trikes can bound around quite a bit when you land. I never would jump mine more then 6" high. Then again, I'm gettin too old to be doing that kind of riding. (Ouch! My Back! lol)

Oh yeah, jumping hardtails is a blast. It is the best in the snow though... not as many bruises (but still plenty)

I was being stupid and hit a rock pile after a snow storm and i didn't see it ( was of the beetten path). Cought 4 ft of air, i flew of the back it landed on its tires. broke the fender, cotter pins that hold the head light on, and blew the bearing.

New front bearings, worn but not shot rear bearings, and no air in any tires.
I need to get some action shots but I bet it looks cool as heck to see 3 huge tires up in the air!

Well I got a funny story about this but if you dont like long posts stop reading here. and its not that funny, just a little funny.

We built a small jump (only about 5 feet tall or so) in the backyard for my 250R, and I was getting some practice on it. My dad came over and was like, you might want to try this and this, etc gave me some tips. I tried them, and he said it was better, but still not there yet, so I asked him if he could do any better in what I guess might have sounded kinda cocky or ignorant. He just laughed, went to the barn, got his little 125m out. The thing about this is that my dad believes that no atv needs to be bigger than 125cc, have more than 3 wheels, or have suspension, he tells me suspension is for people who dont know how to ride right

So anyways, he comes out on the 125m and lines up and I'm thinkin this is gonna be ugly. He gets to the foot of it and guns it, freakin flies over the top I bet at least 5 or 6 feet high and lands perfectly, almost no bounce. It was like watchin a plane make a perfect 3 point landing. I was amazed, he rides over to me and points at my 250R and says, "you think that thing can handle this jump?" I was embarrassed, lol

Anyways, to make a very long story short, it is possible to jump hardtails like everyone else has been saying, just gotta know how to do it right so you dont break stuff. And yes next time he fires it up, I will get pics for you guys, I know it sounds like a BS story but its not, I almost couldnt believe it myself

Id NEVER jump a 110 or 125. Look at whats holding the foot pags/bar on. 4 little bolts. Just imagine if one or more of those were stripped and you hit a jump. Unless you were sitting down, kiss your feet/legs/and the rest of your body goodbye! :eek

When I was about 14 or so I used to jump my 200s all the time it was great I always landed perfect, I would then try the same jump on my Dads 250sx and I hated it, hard to get the front end up and the landing was scary. That was 21 years ago, but back then I prefered hardtails to soft tails anyway more easier for my narrow but to handle.
