i have a 85 350x and found a motor but the guy wants to keep the stator however i have one in my old motor but how do u remove them w/ out damageing them do u use a puller are they pressed on how does this work?

Yes it's pressed on and yes you need a puller. If it's rt handed thread, a metric bolt with the right pitch will do it. Old axles have a similar pitch and diameter thread in some cases and may work.
85 stators only fit 85 just so you know

The 350x stators are mounted in the left side cover. When the cover is removed the stator is with it. There is around 5 bolts to take out inside, and then the stator can be pulled out. No pullers are needed.
