    Carb rebuild on a 185s...

    Is it difficult to do?
do I need a kit to rebuild one? And is there a rebuild kit available for it?

yea there is rebuild kits. you can get them threw dennis kirk, e-bay, and any atv shop. just ask for a rebuild kit for a 22 mm Keihin carburator. or tell them a 185s. they are pretty simple to do. it getting it all tuned back in that can be a pain.
down to parts because i no longer have a place to ride trikes.

I see your my neighbor... LOL

But yes there is. I just ordered a rebuilt kit for mine today from my local dealer. $14.95 and comes with everything you need.

One important thing to remember is to count the number of turns the air screw and idle are turrned out before replacing them. (this means turning them all the way in and counting the turns before turning out) This way you'll have a good starting point after you got everything back together.

If you don't have a manual let me know and I'll post up the carb specs and diagram here on the board for you.

The clymer manual is the way to go.
I think I found all my carb kits for around $16 on ebay.
