quick oil question

hey do any of you guys run amsoil 0-40 in your trikes, i was just at my local oil store and i was looking for 10w-30 and the guy told me I should be running 0w-40. I live in wisconsin so wouldnt that make it easier to start in the cold, also would that make *Edited**Edited* engin run hotter? thanx

I run 0w-40 in my 200x haven't put on alot of miles but it has worked good so far. No it does not make the engine run hotter. But the starting is easy.

I run it in my kids Yamaha 80 quad, it's great. starts easy, shifts easy, no problems.
