    Fork caps on Tri-Z?

Is there anything "special" about these caps on the top of the forks? Not the air nozzle cap, but the entire cap that threads into the fork tube. I have seen prices that range from 30-40 bucks each, if you can find OEM. Is there a compatible aftermarket, or other model that would also work? I tried a simple search on Ebay, and didn't really find much of anything, so it got me to thinking there might actually be something "special" about these.

Any suggestions or experiences to share?

Check with Ronnie () or Speedbump. I believe they have made billet aluminum caps.

The entire top cap for the fork your talking about? Well..thats not something you can just remove and run without if thats what you mean I haven't heard of anything that interchanges but it doesnt seem like it'd be hard to find someone with a badly bent pair of forks you could rob those off of.
