    1985 TEcate Problems!

    I cant get this bike to run the compresion is good and everything not sure if the coil,flywheel are working!the flywheel is rusted and cant take it off!Help me out!

    COuld be the flywheels and stator.. we had that problem with our 84.. ran great one day wouldn't start for *Edited**Edited**Edited**Edited*.. If your flywheel is rusted means there's water in there and my mean your stator is shot.. Is there spark from the plug? Take the plug out, leave it attached to the coil wire.. place it on the head where you can see the bottem, with your hand turn the motor over (using the kickstart) if there ain;t no spark your stator is done.

    Try the classifieds on the forum here, I'm sure somebody might have one of them.. If not ebay would be your next best shot. Post a thread in the classifiends first though, I've had losts of luck on there myself.

    can you get the flywheel off with a puller?
