250sx front tire.

my 1986 honda 250sx has the original front tire on it, it has a slow leak and a plug in it (which the guy said its been in there for 3 years) its still in pretty decent shape considering how old it is. but im gonna put a new one on, so my question is,what kind of tire? and is there a way to put a little smaller tire on so it looks better, and if so is that a good idea? thank you.

kyle, have seen 350x frt.on here for about $130-$160. Somebody said they could get them for $35. Don't remember who though? :? 200x should be cheaper. As for changing-fairly simple. If you decide to go that way, get ahold of me(e or pm) I'll help you out. Going to Badlands in 6 hrs., better get some sleep! :shock:

Yeah man, I got the 350X varity. Its beef in a can. I think I have the original tire. I need a new one though, slow leak from dry rot.[/img]

I got a '85 250SX too. It's great, but i got a lil problem: we just got out the transmission shaft to get the driveshaft right in the hole, but when we tried to get the shaft in the guires, it wasn't in the last f**ing guire so it fell and we had to remove the engine from there and to get da fu**ing guire, reset it and close it all...but we got one more problem: when we put it into the transmission, the o-ring probably broke so now oil is pissing off there... :evil: now we gotta put a new o-ring without make falling the lil guire...u got tips ??
