    Price of 86 Tri-Z ? needs work...

I have come to the conclusion I was paying too much for broke down 3 wheelers and dirtbikes. Didn't know jack about what I was gettin into.

So I find this TRI Z for sale in my home town and the guy wants more than $450 for this project. I think he is dreamin.
Says "Good condition, plastic good, no rust, one headlight out, top engine apart"

    What would you pay?
    Is it really an 86?

I figured I'd go look at it and if it doesn't sell, maybe his price will be sensible.

$450 does not sound too bad to me, but I am a honda guy, however, I'd pay that for one of them.

    85 in my book.

Why is the top end off? how bad does the cylinder look? Need a bore?

If it wont take much to get it running (hone, and piston) offer him $400 cash.
