Well I've got my electrical system all apart and have been testing it. Primary coil reading was .05, spec limit is .01-.03. However, the multimeter has an internal .03 reistance (Measure by putting the 2 ends together) which makes the primary read .02, within spec. Secondary coil reads with cap are about 8.2k ohms. Lighting, ignition coil, and pulser all are pretty well within spec. Now the OEM Honda service manual has a chart to check the CDI box, but I've been unable to get anything more then a big fat "0" to come up on the display when checking any of the contacts. Any ideas?
