    Tire pressure equalizer for trikes

    Hey guys,

Im sure something or some kinda product is out there for this. I want to get my tires in close to perfect unison of pressure. So I dont pull to one side or no bad side effects.

Ive tried normal guages but I find real low pressure ones dont work well.

Im thinking just a standard air hose off the compressor with a T valve in it, then have those 2 lines go to each tire. Should equal them out?

Any ideas? afro engineering? products that do this?

    Thanks alot guys!

yea that will work but youwill have to remove it from both valve stems quick so you dont loose any air

Thats a great idea. Just a hose with a air nozzle on both ends.

    Im gonna try that!

You need to check the diameter first to make sure they are the same size with the same amount of air pressure. I've got a set of hoosiers that are the same diameter when one has 2 pounds and the other has 8 and they are the exact same size tires. Dirt tires are not going to be that drastic but you should still check if you want them perfect.

Some drag racers use a setup like this. I used to kick this idea around when I worked at a tire shop. I always thought that you could use two small ball-valves on each side of the T. Then you could shut the valves after equalizing pressure, and take the hoses off the stem without losing any pressure. small tires lose air quick.

You could actually just use one valve.

I spent $20 on a digital air gauge a year and a half ago or so and its one of the best tools I've ever purchased. Half lb increments up to 200PSI, and its switchable to metric units alo.

I have a low pressure tire gauge.. goes from 1 to 10 psi range..

But i usually just use my foot !!!.. Grab the rear rack with both hands and dig my heel into the tire one at a time.. get them nice and even and GO !..
