snow plows on trikes? Anyone have one?

I remember back in probably 84 or so a guy had a Big Red with a snow plow and tire chains. At the time i didn't give it much thought but it was something that i never forgot. He mainly used it to clear the sidewalks at the local 7-11 mart of snow, and the parking lot if it wasn't to deep. Well i have a 85 sx and thought it would be great to have a plow on it for light snow work. I realize this next to impossible to make happen since they quit making plows for trikes 20 something years ago, but it would never the less be neat. I remember them having some sort of loop around the tire and a blade. That's about it. Anyone have a trike that is still used for plowing? Or even some old pics of trikes back in the day equipped with blades.

Check out ChrisD's site. Almost at the bottom of the page you will see a picture of his 250sx ? with a plow on the front of it. He has a video of it in action there also.

Looks like the sx was doing a great job of clearing the lake of light snow and ice chips. And yeah, lots of fun in the process. If i could only get my hands on a plow, my 85sx would be set along with some tire chains. Brings back a lot of good memories.

i have two of them for my ERN, one up in the northern side of newfoundland at my old house, which i will be getting this summer. that one is well made and tough (needs mods because of it) And the other one is the one i slaped together for this season. BUt the only diffence with this one is i made 3 snap points in it just incase. I rather have the plow break to peices then my frame.

I believe my old YTM200ERN had a plow at one time too. It has mounting brackets similar to my Big Red back behind the footpegs and someone also cut a hole in the Yamaha assessory foot brushguard/skid plate.

I'll soon fix that!, i have some frame work to do, that will be the first thing i'll be making. I'v gone down dirt roads and heard rocks hitting the bottom of the engine, not good on the casing.
