    Ytm-200 redneck exhaust ;)

I buy this exhaust on ebay.

Does anyone ever try to put a slip-on like this on a trike.
I buy it because it is very cheap. 6$ heyhey
I kow that the engine it came from is a least 5 times bigger put I decide to give it a try. Im pretty sure I ca make it fit.
Where can I find a headpipe for a ytm-200 here in Canada?
The cheaper woud be the better. :P
Can a normal muffler garage bend a pipe small like this?

Good luck...lol...i went to the dealer here . Don't make them any more , and they can't cross ref them with anything else ...How ever you can get them made at a automotive parts dealer, or find one at a ATV salvage yard (used that is)..

I kind of guted the stock muffler on mine. I drove a rod through the center all the way to the front, that got rid of the spark arestor, and a few baffles. Then for a bit of noise I punched 2 1/2" holes on the inner wall of the muffler near the outlet.

It is perfect, at idle it sounds almost stock with a little thump. Mid range is good not obnoxious or anything, just nice. Then when you get on her the high rpm's sound real nice. It's like shawing! But not so loud you need ear plugs.

    Mine runs good.

I m sure that it wil backfire a lot less than my old rusty pipe. The pipe was broke just after the exhaust flange and bolt. I just want to be sure that there will be no leaks.
Hey Troy, do you cross reference with a Yamaha BW or TW 200. the engine are very similar, except that the Bw have manual trans. I don t know if the headpipe is different because of the frame.

Yes, I know that I will have to make a completely new headpipe.

I thought that the 450R had a twin headpipe?
How do you made it fit?

no 400ex has a twin head pipe 450r is one single i think 1in 3/4 pipe into muffler
heres my post of it just a lil heat a lil bending and some moderate welding and it looks good. the exhaust looks better than the trike but hey its a beat and it runs and it moves so at least i have a trike to ride. http://www.3wheelerworldforums.com/s...ad.php?t=61254
