Oh really, that's good to know, I'll get in touch with him.

Your scoop ? ...........You may be right as they don't fit mine. So they are rare too? I'll give ya a better pic.

We made stabilzers for quads back in the day using a volkswagon stablizer but I can not remeber which on. We just welded a heim joint to the end and made a bottom bracket.

I saw an add for those super scoops in one of the ATV News mags I got , but I currently loaned them out so when I get them back I will shoot you a scan , can't remeber who made them. Are yours Maier?

PS love the old school decals
I have no idea what they are but suspect they are Maiers.

I like the decals too, it's a major decision if I want to take them off or not.

I'll leave them on for now though, for quite a while that is.

I can give you better close up's of the one on the R in the future if you like?

If you call Maier ,,, ask for Jeff (production Mng. or general Mng (I think is his position). He just went to bat for me (huge big) on running a T-3 fender in red for me to match the next to last set of T-3 red fenders they will produce.
Of course ,,, Aussie is awesome too. Nothing like doing business with one of our own.

Again ,,, GREAT reading and glad you shared it with us Huffa !

Hey thanks John, I'll try both parties I guess?

Maybe I should ask how many would buy such a thing 1st though? I think they are nice but maybe others would have no interest in them?

    Thanks Slothminx.

To the day it's 23 years and 1 month old. He gave me the official Honda warranty card (still under warranty I guess) with the date on it. His name is Gary, mines Gary.

It's funny though, he worked on a cycle I had well over 20 years ago and I had an issue with him pertaining to the work he did. Been so long ago I could not begin to remember what bike, what the issue was or anything and now 20-25 years later I end up buying his machine! Good guy that Gary !
