    Question

How bout some updates on this rebuild buddy. I'm dyin here.

So a simple chain buffer is the only thing holding you up? Last time I checked it was the stuck bolts in the triple trees. ever get that figured out? I thought all this trike needed was to be regeared and some axle bearings? what happened?

I'm not too familiar with these air cooler sliders... but couldn't you just get a strip of nylon,, heat it a bit and bend and mount it around the end of the swinger? What I'm thinkin here is are you familiar with the nylon rails on the bottom of the old school skateboards? wouldn't something similiar to this work? just drill some new holes and mount it to the swinger. WALAA!

Post a pic of this slider so we can help you look for something close or similiar that may work? There's gotta be something close off another bike or quad. your not absolutly stuck on having OEM are you?

The triple tree was done long ago, I got another one and painted it up.

The All Balls bearing kit you turned me on to Chris worked great, then I painted the swinger up.

The slider is being made by Jason Hall and no, a OEM is out of the question Chris because you can't get them new anymore and certainly most all are well worn by now.

I did post pic's of the slider on page two here

http://www.3wheelerworldforums.com/s...ad.php?t=74989 ....you muct have missed this post I guess ?

It's just not that simple guys to JUST mount any piece of material up being that the swingarm is not perfectly flat, i say have one built to fit right, then other members don't have to go thru this ordeal figuring out what to do as they will be available then as long as the construction goes OK with Jason and he wants to make more.

Anyone have a idea how much a fairing cost from the shop brand new when they came out?
