    Painting a platic gas tank

Hey guys, I know this subject has been covered alot on here and I know as far as paint goes you should use the Krylon fusion paint. But what do you use to strip the paint off a plastic tank that some other goof used regular paint on? Is there anything or just sand? Thanks

As for paint. I used Krylon fusion for my 490s tank. It looked good, until gas started to eat it off. I just bit the bullet and bought a new one.

I can't imagine there is much that will strip the paint and not affect the plastic....Oven cleaner?? Heat gun?? Then it has to be repainted, new tanks are about 170$ shipped your time is worth something.....
