A search could of revealed that information, but anyway.
I assume you are talking about the Hondaline accessory kits:
The mounting is a breeze... and you can find the kits on eBay, mostly, just keep your eyes peeled and bid high. Search the forum, there are a bunch of threads with mounting instructions for a number of trikes.![]()

I have one on my atc200x(using 84 250r front end). The hard part was to get the speedo drive, I used a speedometer for cruisers, I forgot the correct ratio to get. Most are also backlit, too.
here's some pics of my R with the speedo fitted.......not easy to find 250R kits these days and when they do come up on ebay they go for proper cash....

Dont take that dirt off, Ill only have to get some more on it. Following a yamaha it gets pretty dirty
The hondaline speedo's have quite a following, people pay alot of money for them on ebay.
Actually i was talking about some sort of aftermarket speedo as 250r crazed is talking about. I was just concerned with the tire height difference of my 23.5 inch front tire as opposed to the standard 4-wheeler front tire sizes.
You input your tire size... there's a chart that you choose your tire and it gives you the metric number to input into the unit. You could probably even be real precise by measuring the circumference by rolling your tire one a marked surface or marking your tire to get a real accurate number if you wanted.Originally Posted by jeffatc250r

Depends on the machine... theres a mini bolt with a magnet built in that you can either mount on your rear sprocket or on your front break rotor (which we did)... and you have to put the sensor in line w/ the magnet. The digital and analog tachometer is a nice feature as well...Originally Posted by 350x'inNY
