Yamaha YTM 200L Clutches not working right

    hey
I put the clutches back in my Yamaha 200L the other night, and it worked right for a few minutes then after a while I noticed them slipping more and more and now i cant even get it to move when its in gear. Would this be the primary or secondary clutch. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Would the type of oil I use cause them to slip. How do you tell if the primary or secondairy is worn?

burnoutboy: I dont know what oil I used, it was just cheap 10W30 from the local service station. Is their some kinds that cause clutch slippage in an ATV

Yamahauler: Im trying to narrow this down to if its my clutches that are shot or the adjuster itself because when I back the nut off and grab onto the adjuster threads with my hands I can pull/push it a quarter of an inch either way and i dont think I should be able to move the adjuster like that.

    Let me know
