Anyone ever seen a plug look like this with a 205 main jet?

I can hardly believe it, even with that big of a main this thing is still running a tad on the lean side. Coughing and choking a little bit. Thats with a B9ES plug too! I've only got up to a 215 main, I hope thats rich enough...

Looks a bit light. Is this from yer 500? If it is, I don't think a 205 is that big. I have run a 200 in my 250 and it took most of it. If ya got it all ported and it will take the extra size,,put it to it. Keep givin if it will keep taking!!!

Sure aint, I mean this is my stock 87 trx250R motor in the flat tracker! Not a drop of porting on it anywhere...39PWK carb too...I guess I'll just keep going up and see what happens.

spray some wd-40 or starting fluid around some areas and make sure there is no air leak while it's idling

I'll check but I dont think theres an airleak, or it would have been revving by its own at low RPM and its definitely not doing that. But I'll check it out anyways.

I had a cracked boot on my bike, I had 330, that was running a 205 and running hot and lean. I didn't know about the cracked boot, untill I removed the top end, to replace it with my stock ported cylinder. Those stock boots, only need a small crack that is super hard to see to make a airleak. I replaced the boot with a new stock one. Another culprit could be reed gaskets or base gasket(s).

it could be the flywheel side crank seal cuasing a air leak since that side dont have oil to make it rich.

I got a 225 for my X and but run a 215. If you need a big jet i think i still got em aroudn here somewhere. Something dosent sound right, thats a high jet for a stock engine.
