Hey-Yoe ...................Had a exciting time today, amount of snow was just perfect, PERFECT!! and we basically had NP all to ourselfs.

Traveled farther NE a lot farther then we ever did. Chris200X I finally found the powerline I talked about to you but we never found, who knows how far we could of gone as we took a exit, stage R, back into a very cool trail in woods. Most the trails we were the 1st and only ones on for the day !!

All the guys (Chris, Greg, Ed, Dave, Dickson, Joza (ho-zay), Norma, Don, Dudley, Nijel and Clark) were A-OK in my book and a few did not ride though since I lied and just made up the names 2 names I honestly can't remember now, !! ..............I knew I should have wrote all down and given everyone there name tags!!

Here are a few pics to start with, some (may not be on this thread) have a story behind them, I'll let you guys figure it out or they can tell why I took the pic...............

    I'll add more tomorrow too.

.............2nd batch - 3 shots here are "What Da???" shots.

OH, some of the trails took some serious body english to manuever through, I'd say they (a few of them) required pretty darn good 3 wheel skills to work your way through, definitly not for beginners.

That shot of the mighty SX, I thought it turned out really cool! NP you can see a bit in the just above the seat. That will be "office" (computer room) wall hanger for sure!

A GREAT TIME, it was fantastic and there are still a lot of trails to discover.

The 2" or so of snow was so nice to have with it being a bit more/bit less in spots.

Chris, Chris from Palmerton says he has been riding Beaver Meadows for 8-10 years I think !! He has the camo 225 on here.

HEY !!!!!!! He knows of a good powder coating dude too. Give him a PM if interested!! I know I will in the future.

I rode that Tri-Z for a few miles, well sort of rode it, in a odd fashion

It was fun to say the least. The trails were great the people were some of the nicest to ride with. I`d say it was a great day. Some trails were not for the unskilled 3wheeler rider for sure. Nice to meet everyone . Thanks for the fun day.

Not sure about "Huffa"s Hill but the fella on the blue DX had a little problem on one of the hills. That leads to the pic of the burned filter and exploded air box. But thats there story . I was helping with the blown out tire at that time.

We (Greg & I ) went up a much nastier hill then that. I'm waiting for greg to share his story on that, I'm not going to be the whole story teller here, leave other guys have some fun

"My" hill was no comparison at all. We did not even make it over that direction at all.

Chris, when you and I rode, you of course remember we rode SW then I think we crossed a road and ventured on some more, I could not find that section where to cross.

Next time we will find it for sure though. Most of the times (this time) we rode in a NE direction.

That's part of the story, I really should have taken pictures of that but at the time you don't think it's very funny BUT IT WAS FUNNY !!

I thought I might piss him off......... while he's trying to save his trike, there I am with no concern taking pictures, so I instead helped the best I could.

The sad thing is he JUST bought that air filter.

If it was a Honda though, in seconds you would of had access to the airbox. So my advise is ......... GET AN SX and be done with it!!

Greg, I got home and 3 out of 4 airbox screws were in my pocket.

Actually I was the one with the blue DX. I'm Erik and I'm SOOO glad that I can laugh about the little incident, it could have been quite a bit worse. The Story: Huffa and I went for a short ride while the others worked on the Tri-Z wheel. Huffa leads me through uncharted territory, I mean through the woods blazing his own trail. So he leads me up this nice technical trail, pretty steep, and I get the front wheel up in the air and heading straight for a tree. I try to stop and my front wheel hits the tree and AWAYYYY WE GO. I flip backward and almost get crushed by the DX. I get the DX upright and try to position it up hill to get going again and guess what, it flips over. So I get it upright again and Huffa comes down to find out what the hell I'm doing. We can't get the DX started and nothing until we pull the plug, turn it over a few times and try again. BAD IDEA, we try to start it and BAM the airbox blows up with a nice blast of fire. Campfire started I freak out because my beloved DX is ON FIRE. Thank God for snow, I franticlly scoop as much snow on the burning DX as possible. Finally we get it out after partially taking off the airbox cover and ripping it the rest of the way off. Luckily we were able to ride the DX back to base camp and have a good laugh. I then rode the crispy DX for another hour or so and no problems. I will however get a new airbox and filter and be ready for the next adventure.
Thanks again for a great day of riding.
