what can i do to mt 85 200s?

Hi everyone, I just got a 85 honda 200s it wont idle it had a new clutch put in. i am gonna clean the carb and see how it runs but when i rode it home i noticed 2 things.
1: This bike has no torque at all
2: This bike could be fun if it had more torque.

so what can i do to remedy this problem?
thanks for your help all of you!

i think that the cluthes might need some adjustment, when u pinn the bike open do she put her power down or do she scream mad wit very little go to her... on the side of your motor theres a clutch nut, keep tinkering with it.. adjust it and take her for a spin, then adjust it again until it suits you.

You should find out what the problem is before buying new / different parts. To do other wise is foolish.

To help figure out what all is wrong with it running:
    Hows the compression?
What does the spark plug look like after you run it?
    Does it smoke at all?
    does it miss while runing?

There are a ton of things you can and should check before you buying parts you might not need.

hi. thanks for all your replies
i got the carb apart and it looks good, i checked the plug, good.
so what could be causin the engine to bog? well folks the guy i bought it from (an engine repair shop) didnt have the coil wire hooked all the way up
but as for the power, when i nail the throttle the front tire goes up to about 40 degrees and drops back down. thats wide open. so can someone give me step by step on how and where to adjust the clutch? he just put a new clutch in.(he showed me the old one) also can anyone point me to some less bouncy tires?
And i dont mean to ramble but what can i do to this to make it keep up with my 225dx?

    thanks for all your help

p.s. sorry about the poor grammar!

hey i just got my new recoil from dennis kirk and i also got some vesrah heavy duty clutch springs to go with my vesrah cluth.
My question is: what exactly makes these better than stock springs?

    Buy a manual.

The stiffer Clutch Spring make the shifting quicker.
