Does anyone have any tips on removing the padpin bolts on the front caliper on a 350x. I have the caliper in my vice and they will not budge. I have tried PB Blaster a little heat e.t.c.![]()

I had the same problem with the rear caliper on my 250R. Just heat the crap out of the caliper around the pin...it will spin right out.

I had really seized pins of 250r calipers, I drilled a hole in the other side of the one pin and cut the rubber boot on the other, heated it, and stuck a nail punch inot the hole and hit the punch and then hit the other pin, back and forth. They came out, I put in new pins and rubber groments when I re-assembled it.
deathman,
i actually just drilled the same exact hole today to put some pb blaster in there to unfreeze that pin thats used to bolt the caliper to the mounting bracket. What did you do with the hole afterwards? I'm thinking to tap it and put a grease fitting there, or seal it with marine tex and paint it up.
