    cheetah 330 powervalve ?

i am picking up a 330 powervalve jug this week

it has a piramid reed valve and a oversized intake for large bore carbs it needs a new sleave but the dude ownes a machine shop and is putting a new sleave in it all i have to buy extra is a piston. i get the jug ,reeds, and new sleave and machine work all for 100 bucks. so i will need another 100$ bucks for a piston. So what rite that is a steal.

he says it is a cheetah cylinder. where can i find out more about that make? i never herd of it. i looked on the web and all i saw was trinity racing banshee cylinders that were called cheetah.

i want to contact the manufacture about jetting recomendations for my 38mm airstriker with the 330. and ask about a cylinder head.

have any of you got a 330 powervalve? is it a cheetah? anything i can get would help .

i run 13/38 and have a stock swingarm i will add 2 inches to it i am thinking just to ride it and maybe change gearing.

the bike is fast as it is at 265 with MX porting and a stupid FMF pipe.

    Is this for the 250R?
I remember awhile ago we got into a discussion about Cheetah cylinders. I looked at them online and they are EXPENSIVE!!!
Someone who knows more about them can better inform you though..

it is not a Cheetah cylinder, the Cheetah is a monoblock twin cylinder for the Banshee. It sounds like a Pro-X powervalve cylinder to me.

ESR, CT, LRD etc sell the Pro-X powervalve cylinder kits. They use a powervalve modeled after the RAVE valve often found in snowmobiles.

well i went and picked it up today as is with no machine work done. for free.

it is useless. it says KIPS or rite on the side of it. it is a stock CR250 jug i think.

    it is nicacyl plated.

i knew it was to good to be true.

it has a nice reed cage but it is a different bolt pattern than my 250.
