Thread: Handling ? concerning 200X/250R

    you'll be amazed at how good it'll handle with them on. not as tippy and be able to sldie it around better. thats all i ever run on a track.

    whats your reasoning for not liking 18" riding at a track?

    i'll be bringing my trx250r and maybe the atc250r

    1985 atc 250r ---- finsh line axle,.fmf exhaust and rictor privateer silencer, prm grab bar.
    2008 KTM 525xc quad ----- HMF exhaust, HRE chromoly stem,
    86 trx 250r --- with after market chromoly frame and everything else done to it
    01 400ex --- with 86 trx 250r motor
    87 250x + 93 300ex both 350x powered
    2 = 86 atc 350x's
    86 atc 250r
    83 atc 185s --- from retired guy not ridden since 87
    Bandito framed 110 with 85 motor and yellow us90 fenders + tank

    Oh, I'm not saying they won't work well, I'm sure they work fantastic, I think it makes a trike look dorky though and worry about bottoming out more often? They have a H/S loop there too and for that I'd like more ground clearence so I think the best comprimise would be 20's for both situations.

    well i'll guess i'll be dorky then when we go riding there.

    I think most love the smaller wheel look, I just can't seem to get used to it, I like OEM size the most or even bigger but know performance wise that is not the hot set up for everything.

    Hwy huffa, for handling reasons, dont you have the steering dampner on there?
    Wouldnt that take away some of the easy flickness?
