I raced my first flat track race this weekend. I'm totally hooked. This is my calling.
It was on a stock 350X that I lowered the forks in and strapped the rear swingarm to suck it down. Don't even think shocks were needed. Pics at 3wheeler.org.
Next year, look for an open-piped, 4-stroke, nerf-bumpered Alky/Nitro burning screamer on the track.
FWIW, I will be out in FL in a couple months to vacation.....

Hey Rex I would not use a strap....it will kill you. It's been a long time since I fooled around with a 350, but I believe that you can lower the rear end easily by removing the lower spacer on the swingarm and bolting the shock directly to the swinger.It was on a stock 350X that I lowered the forks in and strapped the rear swingarm to suck it down. Don't even think shocks were needed
