1983 250R Rebuild Thread

We bought this 250R about 3-4 years ago intending to do a quick rebuild and sell it on. The picture doesn't show this but it had been crashed badly. The rear axle, forks and hedlight guard were all bent and the rear plastic was badly cracked.

We've finaly started work on it, loads of parts have been powder coated and plated, I'll update this thread as it progresses.
The rebuild has got a bit out of hand compared to what we intended, my dad thinks we might struggle to make a profit after seeing the powder coating/plating bill lol



Heres some of the plating, I was originally going to paint over it, but i like how it looks now

I've no idea, the old man comes up with these silly ideas and never sees them through. I know we are spending a lot more than he wanted to
He did say if it doesn't make enough money we'll keep it
