    radar runs

    just got back from the radar runs, of course I had no other 3-wheelers to go against, all quads. Did manage a 2nd place. It was running pretty shitty,poor traction, and wrong gears, should have had the first but it was just too cold to do any wrenching out on the lake. ran 76 mph in 1,000ft. should have been in the mid 80's.

    There were radar runs going on in my town today too. I've been looking forward to it for weeks but it was just too cold. About 6 with a nice NW breeze. I don't think my jetting would be rich enough for WOT at that temp. On top of that, the course was exactly into the wind. Not the best for top speeds. Maybe next year.
