what does a 350x stator put out? I want to run some desert lights and i'm pretty sure i'm going to need to upgrade the stator...does ricky stator do upgrades for this?

I contacted Ricky Stator about a month ago. They do not make any stator for a 350x. They told me they could refer me to someone that rebuilds them but that person does not re-wind them for higher output. Ricky Stator also told me that the stock (I called about an '86) stator is pretty high output - on average 110-130 watts.

Im curious as to why you feel you need them? The 350X has one of the brightest lighting systems Ive ever seen, and they use to cast shadows over my Z when they rode behind me. Make sure you have quality bulbs, and you should be casting some serious light now.Originally Posted by Slinky
