    Tips for a atc110 motor in a atc70, Help!

Hello, I am new here. I went though some of the topics and saw some nice bikes out there. My question is, can anyone give me some tips on how the installed the atc110 or atc125m motors in there 70's. Mainly I am concerned with the bottom mount for the motor and the intake manifold. I don't want to start hacking away at my frame and find out that there was a simpler or better way to do it. I will most likely put a Lifan motor in my other 70's, but I wanted to keep this one OEM Honda. Many thanks for any help and pics.

You will have to relocate and redrill for the top engine mount. Most people fabricate the front engine mount for the frame also. It's not a hard mod but the problem I see is that the chain sizes for the sprockets don't match up. Most people just run the larger 110 chain and say they've had no real problems, but I didn't like it so I just went with the lifan. Do a search and you can find more info on the swap. Look for the search box above the topic posts.

When you mean the top mount, you're not talking about the head mount are you? As for the chain, the 110 has the same pitch but is wider. Sprocket Specialists will make a 428 rear sprocket for about $80 shipped. Thanks for your help.

the front fender will rub the head I know it rubbed on mine that I put a atc90 engine in it. I extended the frame 2 inches on it so the fender wouldnt hit and I could run a different gas tank. It also helped keep the front end down also.
