    why would the plugs foul?

I am thinking about buying a 1983 Honda big red, the ad for it says it "go's through plugs", what would cause that too happen? Is it an easy fix or a hard fix?
here is a link to the ad http://regina.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehic...QAdIdZ10031475 , where it says "the fork is broken and could be welded" and the picture is circled where it could be welded, would welding that park of the fork make the suspension not work as good, or not work at all? Also, any reviews on the trike, reliable? parts available? do they break alot? ect. Thanks

odds are it needs rings since its "eating plugs" or its wayyy too rich... and as for the forks.. if you weld it there, odds are they wouldn't work anymore... i've seen lots of big red forks welded there and they never worked....

alright.. your fork problem is pretty much solved... and the plug eating problem is pretty simple... might be expensive.. piston AND rings ~100 bucks if i had to guess...

Alright, So if I did get this trike, bought it for say...$400, put $150 into the engine, $50 for forks, and maybe $50-$100 to make it look good, would it be worth it?

if you plan on keeping it, and not selling it.... then probably... but if you plan on selling it in the next year, you probably won't get your money back out of it...

well, thanks for the help guys, I think ill just keep my money for now and put it in the bank and maybe wait for something a little faster and something that if I want to sell later I can maybe get my money back for.
