Yeah its a maier guard it looks good. The motor is really strong rebuit the motor about a year ago but he don't ride the bike i would have to say their might be 5hours on the motor.

Anyone know where i could find a front disk gaurd like the one on his old 350x? (pic attached)

I looked on the maier web site and they only had a rear guard for the 350. Could it possibly fit on the 250r? When you find the guards let us know as I would be interested in a pair too.

2k seems a bit steep to me...specially if you helped rebuild it...out here a nice one is 1800 tops...but it has the OEM rear fenders...???? hell, try to jew em down...no reason to take it for asking price...

Buy it ride it bring it to Trikefest! Sounds like a good plan to me. You can't go wrong with the 2g's, even though it sounds high. I always put this question to the test...If I have to could I sell it for what I have into it? No doubt it's worth it in parts alone. You'll have a sweat machine that is known for durable all around fun. Like others here have said if I had an extra 2g's I'd jump all over it.

I bought an old vintage Acerbis rear brake guard that was for a TRX250R thinking it'd fit on my 350X. It wouldn't. So I'm assuming that the 350X wouldn't fit on the 250R.

As far as the front guards, they are discontinued from Maier. So get yourself some deep pockets to find a set on ebay. However, they do make a bunch for dirtbikes... maybe something would match up.

Again, the trike is well worth 2 G's.

Lets face it, at this point if a 350X has a nice OEM rear fender it raises the price about another 700$ to 1000$.

It is completely insane what people are paying for these fenders. If fenders cost me more than 200$ I simply wouldn't even want to ride the thing.

I'm gonna start buying every single 350X in the Advertiser thats below 2K with a great OEM fender. Clean and fine sand it until it's perfect and sell it. Then throw a Maier on there and make a quick 500$.

I recently sold 1 that was restored-no OEM fenders on it though, I got 3 grand for it and I would say it was near that shape as far as I can tell, I would pick it up for sure for 2 grand !!

To me OEM plastic dosent matter. It could have maiers and it wouldnt change anything. I would never pay 500 for plastics. But then again I like to customize stuff not keep everything stock.
