Pounding out a stubbourn axle, still haven't broke it free so it's soaking in PB Blaster for a couple more days but during the maul poundings my son stepped on and broke off the vent nipple from the brake housing, does anyone have knowledge as to where I might buy this nipple? it's what the rubber hose is connected to.

It is just a breather hose. It runs up to the frame to for pressure release / gear box breathing - You could re-drill and tap just about any old nipple in there and hook up a hose to it. Just be sure it's sealed up real good.
