    Why are these so expensive??

I just got off the phone with the stealer and found out that the springs that hold the ratchets in the recoil are $5 each?? I'm sure you all already know this, but I was shocked. I jokingly guessed $4 with the parts guy and then he told me...

What's up with the prices on stuff? I guess cuz they have it and I don't? Anyone have one of these funky little springs they'd like to give me? I have two, one's gone missing.

Thanks for your sympathy even if you can't help me out!

If you only need one the shipping would be more than the cost of just the spring from your local shop. Thats my .02...

I have ( or Had ) them for $1 each. Shipping could be as cheap as a stamp.

I feel your pain $25 for the rear motor mount bolt and spacer for 350x and $88 for wheel studs and nuts. It hurt to sit down after just talking to them!! and made me feel a little dirty. The jerks didnt even offer to kiss me afterwards.

Howdy, are you saying if I send you a SASE with a dollar in it you'll send me one or are you saying you got them for a dollar?? dratv.com costs .93--then $5 for shipping. I guess I should just spend the $5...it's not that I don't have the $5, it's just that I don't have the $5 for a freakin little spring!
Thanks for all you input. The Big Red is coming along fine and I'll post some pictures (beware, she's UGLY) pretty soon.

Because they are phasing out the 3 wheeler parts and jacking the prices on what they have left.

old red, with a profit like this, they couldn't possibly be phasing them out. They must see enthusiasts like us and say "I think we need to have a price increase on these brake pads this year..."
