    1984 Yamaha 225dx clutch question

My Yamaha 225dx 3 wheeler worked fine about 2 years ago. I haven't driven it since then and now the centrifical clutch slips. I took it apart and everything seems to be in ok shape? The one way bearing is working and there's about
.075" of pad left per side. I can tell its this clutch because while it's running you can look down the dip stick hole and see when its turning and not.

Do these clutch pads get glazed and slip??

I did change the oil before this happened, would that do it?? ( I used 10w30 SE)

    Any suggestions?

That would be easy enough, I'll run the crap of it and see what happens.

I'd add a picture to my post but it would take a light year or so.

    Thanks -
