    Air screw question...

    I have been messing with the YTM 225's carb for 3 days now... I want to know how many turns out is the air screw normally set at on the YTM 225? I know the one on the inside of the carb is 1 1/2 turns...

    Traxxas was right about my throttle cable causing the excessive revving... I started messing with it and found that the throttle cable was FUBAR...

    the screws on the inside should all be tight. as for the mixture screw on the bottom front start at 1.5 and set your idle then adjust the mixture srew to smooth the idle.

    The air screw typically starts at about 1 1/2 turns, and then you blip the throttle open, jude the response, and adjust for best throttle response off of idle, while testing in 1/4 turn increments in both directions from the start point.
