    bassani silencer (what it fits)

Does anyone know what this silencer goes to? Someone told me it was for a tri-Z but I really don't think so. I've never seen a tri z silencer with hooks on the end of it. For some reason there is no mounting bracket on the rear. See the pics below. Any info will help.

    Thanks Denn

Looks like the same one I got on my 82 250R. It was a tight fit but it fits. Sounds alot better then stock too I can take a picture of it on the machine if you want.

definately not a 84-85 t3 bassani silencer, they have a about an inch or so on the tubing that is bent inward towards the frame and connects upto the pipe. if your looking to off it though i might just wanna buy it off yah, i could always modify it to fit and attach it. send em a pm if wanting to sell it. the hooks look like they would be for springs possibly holding the headpipe and silencer together, they look just like the hooks on my headpipe where the springs go on to attach it to the cylinder.
