size of dr650 carb?

I know this should go in the bike subforum, but I want to know if I can use it.

it's off a 00 dr650. I'll prolly sell it on ebay, but if i could use it on this 250r I'm hoping to build, I'll just keep it. I'm also thinking of using the forks off it, there 43mm and a 250r is 39mm. I heard I could just make the whole bigger since it's not that much.

The more stuff I can use the better, the rest will be ebay'd. And that's a pain.

Suzuki DR650? I'm almost sure that carb is a CV style. I know the DR650 carb I have lying around (not sure what year) is a Constant Velocity style. I don't think it will work on a two stroke and even if it did you'd still be better off with even an old Keihin PE, let alone a PJ or PWK.

Two stroke carbs and four stroke carbs aren't usually very compatable anyway. The differences in intake velocity between the two types of engine dictate specific carb features.
