was riding last night and i noticed the slight clatter in the top end,it runs great lots of power but has that tick think the valves need to be tightened up? i keep the oil changed and its not smoking or anything. maybe im running her to hard?

If you adjust the valves and the ticking is still there, it could be the cam chain. I think it has an adjuster too right?
yes that cam chain tensioner is located under that little rubber cap on the block, down by the bottom of the cylinder.
