    blaster problems

    wel. I've got my blaster running, kind of. It's been running pretty good, but yesterday and today, it hits but wont start. if it does, it doesnt run long. what could my problem be? thanks.
    My bikes:
    -1982 honda 250r
    -1999 HONDA 300 Fourtrax 4x4 "The Tank"
    -2001 harley 1200 sporty

    you sure your getting gas? you say you got it running, did you do a rebuild on it at all? are you getting spark? check your plug is it looking wet? i would check the carb, do a thourough cleaning and go from there. perhaps you need to up your jetting. do the simple thigns first. my blaster was a mutha to start at first when i did a rebuild on it, but i upped the main and pilot, and the thing purrs like a kitten now.

    I agree with Scooterroo sounds like you're carb needs cleaned or you need to rejet.

    Sounds like a problem I had with my IT200. I sheered my fly wheel key. It still had spark, and starts at times, but thats about it. Check that out.

    Should be the first thing replaced on any bike that wont start, especially a two stroke. You should be carrying spare plugs when you ride.

    yeah im with syko! my blaster always had fouled plugs durin the winter or colder months. go with a bosch platnum 4+.

    the woodruff key in the flywheel's fine. Ive had that problem on other bikes before but its fine. I also tried 2 new plugs earlier. I'm pretty sure int's in the carb. I guess Ive just gotta play with it tomorrow. thanks guys.
