That's one of the earlier monoshock frames, made by Hi Performance Atc. You can tell it's early, cause it uses an 185s rear axle. I have one of those frames, later model, that uses a hollow specially made axle which is actually stronger than a solid axle. A very trick period piece. And the RD Boyz ruled!
If I lived closer, that trike would be mine, a piece of history.

Do you have an idea of what this frame is? And what motor it was ment for it?
When I got it I thought it was one of the custom frames ment for the RD motor, but iv noticed the RD frames have 2 down tudes..

I vaguely remember that frame when it sold on ebay. I think there was a picture of it and another frame the guy had sitting in an open field. Maybe that was you who had that picture, it's been awhile so I can't quite remember exactly. If you had a picture before you modded it for the 250r engine. I think it is an old "papasons" frame. They made them for the rd350 and the 185s and they were single down-tube frames. If you have any of the old magazines from around 82 or 83 they would show a picture of a "papasons" frame, as that frame was the general frame they used and just hung different engine mounts on. If I remember right, the "papasons" frame back bone wasn't in a straight line, somewhere down around the seat area the backbone changed angles to a less steeper angle. Hope that helps.

Yeah it was this frame and a Joker or Bandito 90 frame, the pic was in his yard or field or something... The frame had the front mounts for a 185-200 motor, and a RD350 front brake setup on the rear,, i changed it over to a KZ setup.. The chrome forks where on the 90 frame....
