years ago I was more into motor cross and super cross, my idol at the time was Danny Hammil (who was killed in baja 1000 300 yrds from the start) and I liked Mike Larocco and Jeff Emig, I didnt really keep up with atv stuff, but I knew Gary Denton was the atv GOD, and now I really dont know who I like.

brandon, the ones you mentioned are my favorites as well. after seeing them all in action (and seeing jones live at his last race get hurt) they all are something you have to see to believe, i have never seen so many guys and girls in the pro class run like they do..W.O.T. threw the whole course

Tim Farr had my vote. I haven't been keeping up with it all though. Whatever happened to him? Is Jerimiah Jones back up? Or is he majorly paralized still?

The one kid that impressed me quite a while ago was Ricky Carmichael. I remember watching his debut race on a 125 and the next few races after that. The kid never gave up. He'd crash, drop 15 spots and come back and win or at least podium. I've not followed how he's been doing since, but I just remember thinking that kid can ride.

Far from my hero, but the boy can ride.

No they don't. Now they just make em faster. Each generation of rider gets just a bit faster and faster. 10 years ago everyone thought Mcgrath was the all time best, then comes RC, well now we have Bubba and next we have ? Of course technology, training, and the passing of time all contribute to the overall increase of speed on the track. Now with the 4stroke revolution taking place who knows what the future holds. But i'll be watching in aww at their incredible speed, that's for sure.

I like Doug Gust and Travis Spader. I also like Josh Upperman as an up and comer, just because he's from OHIO!
