    What is it worth?

    I am looking at a 1986 Honda 250R that has been completely redone. He replaced everything and anything with OEM parts, every gasket, seal, boot etc. is new and nothing was left undone. It has a chrome rims and exhaust with all new plastics, chain, sprockets ect. I have never seen a nicer one. What is it worth? The last mint condition one on Ebay that was all original fetched $5800 but it had never been touched and only had 15-20 hours on it from 1986. On the other hand it probably has dry rotted seals etc because it sat for so long. I am sure some of you guys saw it because it was just on there 2-3 weeks ago. Any thought would be appreciated.

    Honestly as sad as it is, even though this machine in question has infinitely more money and time invested in it then an original Mint machine, its not worth near as much. $4,000 would be the absolute ceiling for the price and $3-3500 is probably more realistic.

    Yeah the guy wants $4500, it is so mint but I just think he wants to much and you just firmed that up. He has $5000 in reipts for it!
