I did the search yesterday, I found 15-20 threads on Pawl failures, but mine is intact.
I didn't have 1st or second gear, third and 4th worked fine. I went to the end of the road in 3rd, turned around, and made it about halfway back before I had nothing at all. That is when I came in and did the search. I tore mine down, and the shift pawl is fine.
Any ideas? I only pulled the right side cover off. Thanks for any input.
