    Neutral safety switch

    Is there any way to bypass this switch on a ytm200ern and still use the electric start???
    1984 Honda TRX200
    1985 Yamaha 200ERN ( two of these now)
    1985 Honda 250SX
    1991 Suzuki LT230
    2003 Honda Rancher 350ES

    If there is two wires coming from the neutral switch, connect them together. This will make a closed circuit and your neutral switch will be lit up all the time.

    I tried that and got nothing... the manual has no troubleshooting for this switch just replacement procedures.

    i cut the wire going from the start button to the relay and ran it this way: from the start button to the solenoid. NOW the reason i did this is not to bypass the safety device, but when i first got the bike the solenoid wouldn't work, little did i know that there was suppost to be a relay on the back..
