79' 110 help

Ok I picked up another "Hunk" today for $50.00 its a nice looking 79' 110. It runs pretty good and dont smoke a bit but it likes to idle up on its own. I took out the air cleaner and cleaned it up real good. I also took the carb off and cleand it out real good but the min i put it back together it did the same thing.

Could use a little advise on what to check next because this is a bike I would like to build and keep.

check for air leaks by the intake and carb
