Tires on my 200M/E

What do you guys think of these tires there by nankang from http://www.tiresunlimited.com I ride dirt roads a lot and mud but i also want a tire that will hook up well in coal. I'm almost for sure I'm getting one of these tires because there both 4 ply and less than $51.00 a piece, they will also be tubed (rims are getting kinda bad). which one do you guys and ladies think will be better for me needs/trike They will be on a 25x12-9 platform for clearance Heres the NK N689

or if no thinks clearance would be an issue i could get these in a 22x11-8 fro $39 a piece and it will match the front tire in size there NK N690

maybe i could make and weld on a skid plate for my trike.

Get the first ones in the first pic you posted up...the chevron looking ones...you cant beat wooly boogers.

Dont even think about getting a set of the one in the last pic. Bushwhackers wont hook up anywhere and they slip and clog with mud. Plus they wear down real quick for some reason.

Those last ones are terrible. I had a pair with the same tread, but a different name on my old Suzuki Quadrunner 185 and it got stuck ALL THE TIME. The "Turf Tamer" looking ones (NK N700) are a good bet if you don't ride in full-on BOGS. They're plenty good in slick terrain and dirt. The Wooly Booger looking ones (NK N689) are a good idea as well, but they might be a bit too big and heavy for a little 200 to pull around.

As for tire sizing, you go with what you need. A 22" tire will make your gearing noticeably lower than a 25" tire, which will result in less top speed and overall higher engine speed (you'll have to over-rev it a lot to go fast). Go with what you need. I'd personally take the 25" ones.

Thanks tire wear is one of my bigger concerns over everything except price (i'm low on cash) Those are the ones i was leaning towards. I'm still open to others views on the subject though.

From my experience with Wooly Boogers (which is limited, I'll admit), I've noticed that they are rock-hard and thus suggest a pretty long wear time. I'd get those.

go with the wooly boggers, they are the best all around tire for good price, there only like 2 ply I THINK not sure, but they work great especially on your application, work awesome in snow too. cant go wrong with them

I have the vipers on my dx they seem to work OK. It had the boogers on it and they are heavy but do last forever. How about the fox a/t`s thats what I`m going to get next and there cheap can get them down here for under 30 a tire.

Well the last ones are pretty much worthless in my eyes but others might like them due to the tire wear. They are almost impossible to wear out! It seems like those suckers will near wear out. They are ok in hard packed areas but anything with mud or loose dirt/sand they dont do that great. I have had a few trkes with those on them and they are always removed. Depending on when you need them, i would give you these (you pay shipping) off my 200es but might be a few weeks before I can get them off and get another pair. Oh also try www.rockymountainatv.com as they have killer prices on tires, some of the best around.

We have maxxis all-trak M9209's on the rear of our 200m, they have huge lugs. They are holding up great but if you are using tubes I don't think they'll work. Turfbuster for the front as well.

The wooly looking ones are 4 ply thanks for the offer Scott but for the time being i'm just gunna go to a atv shop or tire place to get tubes for some brand new 22's i got for free awhile back (don't hold air[bead leaks]) hey MO dx them fox a/t's are they 25x12-9 cause everywhere i seen them they were $60 bucks a tire if you can get them for thirty a piece I'll be there in like 2 weeks or so to pick a set up.

No that was on 22/11/8`s. I might be able to get you 25`s cheap my buddy has a set of turf tamers on honda rims and he sold the buggy so he don`t need them.
