I saw this in the local adds and I had never seen one before, I was wondering if any of you have one and how hard parts are to come by? Its a make offer deal and he claims it has electric problems. Not like I need another project lol but I was curious about it.

i think they almost all have electrical problems. mostly the "igniter box" they are discontinued and used ones on ebay are not cheap. i have four boxes off ebay and still no cigar. so that klt is in the back of the shed for now. fresh bore, new fuel pump, new piston rings etc. and it still won't run.

I'm looking into getting one of these too and from what I found on here (whether it's true or not, I'm not sure), the black ones are rarer than the red ones. Most everybody suggest picking them up since there aren't many around.

Well if parts are a pain to find and the ones ya do find still dont work, it sounds like a project for someone else lol.

i haven't given up on mine, its just way at the end of the priority list. its not going anywhere.there just was a box on ebay for like 160.00 bucks with no return. i'll just keep watching till one a little cheaper comes along and try again. other than that i really did'nt have a problem finding anything else i needed for it. everything else was rather inexpensive. just the damm electrical.
